Keng Tung History 
                   Keng Tung is a small town in North East Myanmar in the Shan State . It was opened for foreign visitors in 1993 . Keng Tung is a capital city of the Eastern Shan State .The surrounding is populated by many ethnic hill tribe groups . Keng Tung was founded by the grandson of  king Mangrai on the location of old city of the Lawa peoples, the original inhabitants of the region .Visitors can get to Keng Tung by flight from Yangon , Mandalay , Heho and Tachileik . Keng Tung is not only in a remote area but also a capital city of the Golden triangle .

    Pin Tauk - Drive about 1 hour by car to get to Wan Pin village . Then trek to Ann village about 50 minutes to get to their village and explore to learn about their daily life. After that continue to Wan Lar Akha village about 1 hour on foot .After visiting the Akha village then return to the car . On the way to the car , Visitors havea  chance to walk through a rice fields to the car .  (  The Ann tribe around Keng Tung area at Pan Lea village . Ann tribe is believe in spirit ( Nat ) .)
